Town sign Pharrell Johnson

Defender arrives from Nottingham Forest

17 January 2024

Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of Nottingham Forest defender Pharrell Johnson on a permanent deal, subject to EFL approval.

The 19-year-old joined Nottingham Forest after starting his footballing journey with Forest, but after working his way through the youth age groups, has decided to join Town on a permanent deal.

Johnson has been involved in Nottingham Forest U21s EFL Trophy games this season too, taking on the likes of Accrington and Carlisle, and was victorious in both fixtures.

The youngster has also been a regular in both Forest's U18s and U21s teams, featuring 17 times in the U18 Premier League during a campaign which saw them finish fourth in their first season as a Category One outfit.

Standing 6ft 4 inches tall, Johnson also played twice in Forest's impressive FA Youth Cup run, which saw him face Manchester United in the final in 2022 and will be eager to build on this success with his first EFL move with Swindon Town.
